About Our Radiology Tech Program in Colorado

Our Associate of Science (AS) in Radiography program is a six-trimester, blended-format program that combines classroom instruction, clinical practicum, and online learning. This innovative educational approach offers students a well-rounded and dynamic learning experience. As a distance education program, courses are delivered virtually to students located in the Denver, Colorado, and Orlando, Florida metro areas.

Through hands-on training, our students prepare for a fulfilling radiography career, learning from real cases and mastering the same technology used by experts. AHU’s Distance Education Radiography program provides didactic and clinical learning to the Orlando and Denver locations.

Our Accreditation

The Radiography Program at AHU is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), 20 North Wacker Drive, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL. 60606-3182; Phone: 312-704-5300; Fax: 312-704-5304; e-mail: mail@jrcert.org, website: www.jrcert.org. Graduates will be eligible to apply for the National Certification Examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and subsequently may be licensed by various state licensing agencies.

As of September 2016, the AS Radiography Program at AdventHealth University has been awarded full 8-year accreditation by JRCERT.

In our radiography labs, students enrolled in our rad tech program master their craft, exploring X-ray imaging and developing a thorough understanding of radiography that they’ll apply during their clinical rotations as they complete the radiology tech program.
