AHU’s wholistic approach begins the moment you decide to pursue an Executive Master of Healthcare Administration degree. If you work in healthcare management and have at least three years of experience in a management position, we have made it easy for you to apply.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the EMHA program is available to students who have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and who are currently working in healthcare (with at least three years’ experience in management, HR, budgeting, etc.).

Additional requirements include:

  • Application and fee
  • Resume
  • Essay or goal statement
  • 3 letters of recommendation. At least one letter should be from a past instructor or professor and two should be professional recommendations.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Transfer Credits

After admission to the program, we’ll conduct an official transfer credit evaluation to see if any courses you took at a different, regionally accredited institution can apply towards your EMHA degree. If you have questions about transferring credits, an Admissions Coordinator is available to answer them.
