Ready to take the next step in your career? The online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences program at AHU has an easy application and admission process, so you can get started on your future today.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences program is open to certified radiologic technologists with either an associate degree or a JRCERT-approved diploma or certificate. If you are currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences (ASRS) program, you may apply and be admitted, but will have a limited selection of courses until you complete your ASRS.

To apply for the program, you will need:

  • Current registration in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, Radiologic Sciences, or Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • A minimum GPA of 2.50.
  • Official transcripts from all colleges/radiography programs.

Considerations for Applicants with a Diploma or Certificate

If you have earned a certificate or graduated from a JRCERT-approved radiologic technology program and are registered by the ARRT, but haven’t earned an associate degree, you can be accepted into the bachelor’s program with bridge status.

To earn the bachelor’s degree, you will need to complete an additional 27 credit hours of cognate courses, earning a minimum grade of 2.0 (C). You may be able to transfer some credits from another regionally accredited institution. Additionally, you may be able to take the CLEP exam to test out of certain cognate courses.

Transfer Credits

You may transfer some credits from courses completed at regionally accredited institutions. After admission to the program, an official evaluation of all previously completed coursework will be performed to determine which credits can transfer.

For more details on transferring college credits, please contact your Admissions Coordinator.
